An original Second Boer War period Northumberland Fusiliers Officers 1897 pattern sword with sword knot. Dome shaped pommel with ball finial, strap back and ray skin grip. Pierced basket guard with Edward VII cypher and blade etched with regimental crest and battle honour scrolls. Stamped 6158 to the spine. Measures approx 101cm.
