19th century Prussian cavalry trooper's sword and scabbard by Schnitzler & Kirschbaum of Solingen, ricasso stamped S&K, scabbard and guard re-painted silver, grip has been recovered in brown leather, blade very fine. With QV 1854 Pattern British Infantry officers sword, probably Wilkinson sword, numbered 29514 (1889), blade is rusty, grip is missing, guard blackened, poor. The family story is that these were recovered from a fire at Blenheim Palace decades ago. BUYER MUST COLLECT. (B)
