Interesting antique small bodied guitar bearing a Boosey & Sons Guitars label signed by Catharina Josepha Pratten, dated 4/13/66, also bearing a Fredrick Winslow Musical Instrument Maker label, dated 1940; Back and sides: birds eye maple, section of binding missing to back, various marks but generally good for age; Top: fine grained spruce, with intricately inlaid mother of pearl, abalone and mastic inlay to the sound hole and edges; Neck: ebonised; Fretboard: ebony, missing pearl marker to last fret position; Frets: minor wear, refret; Hardware: engraved brass tuning strip with pearl shaped buttons, repairs to upper and lower E button positions on bridge; Nut width: 48mm; Sound length: 625mm
