A good George II style walnut carved upholstered wing back armchair. Raised on front cabriole legs carved with acanthus leaf terminating on claw and ball feet turned H stretcher and splayed shaped back supports, height 120cm width 79cm depth 73cm. The height to the top of the seat is 53cm. The frame is sound and firm, there are a few marks and scratches on the feet and stretchers. The upholstery is relatively recent and is in good order.
