A Victorian ormolu mounted marquetry inlaid walnut bookcase,
with D shaped top and two glazed doors enclosing fixed shelves, on scroll feet,

overall in good honest condition, the top of a rich mid brown walnut tone, with one or two old splits running in from the sides, one water ring mark and other more minor dents, the front faded down to a lighter golden tone, fitted with the original lock with working key, shelves look original albeit with later gold velvet lining, again faded around the plinth, ormolu mounts of fair quality in what may well be the original finish which is now looking a little dirty and matted.
