A Rare White-glazed 'Kalavinka' Pillow, Liao dynasty the concave bean-shaped top deftly incised with stylised floral motifs within a diamond-shaped panel, supported on the backs of two wondrous kalavinka, their finely modelled human upper bodies and aristocratic faces emerging from each end, their winged lower body and fish-like tails meeting under the centre of the pillow, all covered in a thin ivory-white glaze pooling to a slight yellowish-green above the unglazed base Exhibited: Museo Nacional de Arte Oriental, Buenos Aires, Inauguracion, 1966, nos. 44 and 45.
