A 19th century mahogany campaign chest In two sections with iron carrying handles, the upper with two short over one long drawer, the lower with two long drawers, raised on turned feet. 91cm wide x 45cm deep x 99cm high Condition:Generally tired. Cosmetic marks and stains throughout. Some old patinated scratches to the top and drawer fronts. Large chips/losses to the sides where the two sections join. Smaller chips elsewhere. One brass corner piece adrift but extant. The feet are likely later replacements/additions. Some drawer stops are later replacements. There are no blocks or rebates for the two sections to hold in place together. Structurally solid with no evidence of worm.
