MBE (Military) silver hallmarked, 1914 Star Trio with original Aug-Nov clasp and MID named (4457 SQ.S.Mjr E W Joslin 11/Hrs) and (Lieut E W Joslin) on pair. With ribbon bar and miniatures, plus MBE case. Later served as a Capt MGC Cav. Comm 1/10/1914. MID L/G 20/10/1914. A well known equestrian the lot includes original large photo album, loose photos, newspaper cuttings, a massive MGC engraved silver hallmarked salvor (1574 gms). He schooled the Queens horses at Windsor for two years. Post WW1 he was manager of Aston Park Stud Farm, Oxfordshire. Then moved Longcross, Egham. He won many silver trophies, cups and medals with lot) at military tournaments, and at Olympia. Plus original MID Certificate WW1, a hand signed photo of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. etc. A superb lot, vended by family. Needs careful viewing. (qty)
