A K6 RED TELEPHONE BOX, the distinctive shape with a domed top, crown and telephone sign to all sides, glass panelled sides and single door, fitted on a concrete base, 90cm squared x height approx. 250cm (condition report: ideal for restoration, reported to been recently painted under 10 years ago but now some paint is peeling, cracks in four different panels, Perspex replacement in seven panels, original phone removed) (transport: in situ, so viewing by appointment only, purchaser to arrange collection from CV9 area, heavy machinery needed, video of site can be send on request) (provenance: Originally from a small village near to Atherstone, where it was outside the local post office, our clients grandparent was the postmistress, where she had seen the telephone throughout her whole life, when the phone boxes were decommissioned, it had been rescued for a small sum, and transported in 1990 where is it stood today, every Christmas the telephone box was lit up and can be looked at from the conservatory from our client's parent who has now passed away)
