The 1975 Yamaha XS 650 offered here was imported in 2012, and has had only two owners since then. On arrival, it was fitted with a second-hand speedo showing 40,840. The MoT history shows all tests since that time, and the last MoT (not needed as is registered historic) was issued at 42,057, an average of 120 miles a year. The vehicle is described by the vendor as running and riding well, and generally in above average condition.

The fuel tank was professionally cleaned inside and out, with a secure layer of special protective paint. It has recently been fitted with a new battery, new tyres, new spark plugs, new oil in the engine, and fork shock absorbers. A set of original Yamaha Japanese spanners is also present. These are now very sought after, especially in this original condition.
