Military: Uniform includes dress tunic with medal ribbons, tropics tunic, battle dress blouse, kit bag, 3 pistol holsters (one leather), 2 shoulder bags, 2 pairs of gaiter's, stable belt, pair of army issued binoculars & 1 other pair, binocular case, enamel bowl & cover and 2 maps of Egypt The Great Bitter Lake, property of Brigadier George R. Flood. In 1939 he joined the Royal Berkshire Regt, was wounded in 1940 and evacuated back to England. He moved to Airborne Forces in 1944 and commanded a Coy 8th Para BN, he served in The Battle of Ardennes and The Rhine Crossing, and he was awarded the M.C. for actions at Greven in March 1945. In 1945-1947 he became 2nd in command of 1 Para in Palestine and served in Egypt and many other places before retiring.
