JOHN LINNELL (1792-1882) TWO PENCIL SKETCHES OF TREES, the first on blue paper depicts Bently Brook in Derbyshire, signed and dated 1814, approximate size 15cm x 17.5cm, the second on cream paper is a view in Llanberis in Wales, signed and dated 1813, approximate size 12cm x 30cm, together with an unsigned sketch of a tree, and an unsigned sheet of paper with rough sketches, Condition Report: both of the signed sketches have foxing, all have dirty marks (4) (PROVENANCE: THE ARNOLD FELLOWS COLLECTION)
