A large Chinese blue and white porcelain baluster vase, late Qing Dynasty, end of the 19th century, painted with profusely scrolling "Islimi", large palmettes, a lappet collar, and a "Greek Key" footband. Unmarked. 21 cm diameter x 46 cm overall height. A private Hertfordshire estate An old repair to the rim but all broken sections are presently fixed back in position and the restoration could feasibly be improved with modern techniques.
