** The work is inscribed on a later label verso, the artist exhibited between 1880-1894 and appears to have been a Scottish painter primarily exhibiting at The Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts as well as The Royal Scottish Academy
The work has good colour throughout with minor foxing (brown spots) to the sky just to the left of the centre of the composition, contained within a 1970s or '80s wash line and titled cream mount and contained within an outer gilt plaster and wooden frame, under glass.
