Captain Frederick Charles Ulick Vernon-Wentworth Royal Navy. The Most Honourable Order of the Bath, C.B. (Civil) Companions Neck badge, hallmarked for 1919, silver gilt. Egypt Medal dated 1882 with Alexandria 11th July clasp (F.C.U.V. Wentworth, Midn, RN HMS Agincourt), 1915 Star Trio (Commr F C U V Wentworth RN) Pair named (Capt F C U V Wentworth RN), Khedives Star 1882 unnamed as issued. CB L/G 3 June 1919. Promoted to Lieut Jan 1890 and to Commander Jan 1901. From the Retired List Wentworth was appointed Captain of HMS Vernon on 10 July 1918. He was appointed High Sheriff of Suffolk in 1912, latterly a J.P. D.L. and a director of Mann Egerton & Co Ltd. From Westworth Castle, nr Barnsley. Lived Blackheath, Saxmundham, Suffolk. (6)
