Walnut side table, 18th Century with later restoration, the rectangular top with kick-in corners and with parquetry inlays and crossbanding, with a single long drawer with brass tear drop handles, raised on shell carved swan neck supports with Braganza feet, width 71cm, depth 49cm, height 74cm
Provenance: Purchased from the Harrods Antique Department

More Information

In our opinion the entire table top and drawer front have been re-veneered. There are minor surface scratches and the top lacks any patina. There are two filled holes in the face of the drawer either side of the escutcheon. There are signs of old woodworm within the legs, particularly the back legs. The back left leg has had new foot applied. New drawer runners visible on the underside.
