1882 Egypt Medal (1882) Tel-El-Kebir clasp to 1530 Pte R. Howson 1/Cam'n Highrs, 1895 India Medal Punjab Frontier 1897-98 clasp to 2231 Sergt R. Howson 11th Hussars and 1882 Khedive's Star reverse engraved 79 and 1530, suspension on Egypt crudely re-attached, heavy pitting and contacts, fair to fine. With copied 16 pages from 2 service records, rolls etc, Richard Howson was born near Glasgow, enlisted in 79th Foot 18/2/78 aged 18, discharged by purchase 22/6/83, re-enlisted in 11th Hussars 8/12/83, discharged 11/8/03.
