A VICTORIAN WAX HEAD DOLL, the head with moulded hat and hair, inset glass eyes, wooden and cloth body, painted lower arms and legs, straw filled in the cloth sections, height 27cm (Condition report: the wax areas are very dirty, crazing in some areas of the head and two larger cracks on the top of the head, no straw filling in the top of the arms, one leg has a hole large enough for the filling to fall out, the beading is possibly a later embellishment, the top half of the dress is faded and in poor condition, underskirts look to be original, the skirt has some age but may not be the original)
