A SILVER MODEL FOR THE SPECIAL AEROPLANE BUILT BY AIRSPEED LTD., PORTSMOUTH, FOR THE USE OF KING GEORGE VI, 1938
modelled in frosted silver as the twin-engine AS.6J plane from the King's Flight, the wings and fuselage numbered G-AEXX, mounted to bronze stylised support on wooden base with silver presentation plaque, London hallmarks for the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd., 1938 -- 10 x 15in. (25.5 x 38cm.) contained within fitted plush-lined wooden case -- 13 x 16¾ x 11½in. (33 x 42.5 x 29cm.)

The Worshipful Company of Shipwrights, presented in 1938 by G. Wigham Richardson, (later Sir George Wigham Richardson, Bt.) who later became Second Master 1943-1944. Displayed at the Air Fair, Biggin Hill, 1967.
