A RARE ANTIQUE GIFFARD 8MM CALIBRE C02 SHOTGUN, serial number 2910 made by the Francaise d’Armes et Cycles de St. Etienne circa 1870-1900, this rifle is excellent original condition with the engraving on the case hardened action clearly visible, the hammer and trigger guard are also engraved, the barrel is nicely blued and fitted with leaf rear sight and bead foresight, the stock is in excellent condition and neatly chequered across the wrist and fitted with a sling loop, a second loop is attached to the barrel, the Co2 cylinder is in excellent condition and unscrews from the action with ease, although the rifle has not been test fired its action and loading bolt both operate normally, the hammer cocks and releases as per normal when the trigger is depressed, its overall appearance indicates that this rifle has had very little use, it comes with a good quality canvas slip
