A silver pocket watch the silver dial with applied gold Roman numerals and decoration, a subsidiary seconds dial and blued-steel hands, the fusee movement with a plain balance to the lever escapement and numbered 2216, the case with engine-turned decoration to the rear and hallmarked within for London 1859 and marked I.H for the casemaker John Hammon of Clerkenwell, diameter 48mm, total weight ca. 118.65gms.
