The Bedford-Hitchin railway 1954-1964, publishing notes and photographs. A fascinating assortment of black & white, contact and colour prints and slides of this line before and after closure. Many of the photographs were used in Peter Waylett's book. Includes a section during filming on the line for the feature film "Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines" in 1965. The colour slides, 26 in total feature trains on the line, stations and infrastructure. These are with copyright.
