A 1966 Triton special, registration number FRV 820D, black. Coming direct from a private collection this fully rebuilt Triton is well presented. The Triton is constructed with a 1955 pre-unit 650cc Triumph T110 engine, which has been rebuilt to race specification with new main bearings, big ends, oil pump, light alloy comrods, pistons and rings, Nourish fast road/race cams, Dynamix cam balance, valves, guides and springs. A new carburettor and clutch have been fitted along with a refurbished magneto and new Alton 12V generator and electrics. The fuel and oil tanks have been resprayed in black and the Norton slimline frame has been newly powdercoated. The frame has been fitted with refurbished Roadholder forks, new rear shock absorbers, alloy top yolk, Borroni rims, stainless steel spokes and TT100 tyres. Our vendor advises us that the list of new parts used goes on and on with every part either being replaced or reconditioned. Now said to be running well, this Triton is ready to be used on road or track. V5C, MOT & tax exempt See illustration
