An early 20th century diamond and untested sapphire ring, the central cushion cut stone with old cut diamonds and further smaller cushion cut stone, within yellow metal carved shoulders leading to plain polished shank, ring size O ½, 3.6gms

Total diamond weight estimated 0.08ct
Diamonds are of various cuts/sizes. One particularly protrudes from setting.
Appear bright, lively and matched in colour.
Setting edge is low, particularly to one side.
Untested sapphires all show rubbing/nibbles to the table facets.
Central stone appears darker than side stones.
Inclusions are present, seen with x10 loupe.
Ring would benefit from a clean.
Carving to shoulders are worn, commensurate with age.
No obvious splits/repairs to under bezel.
Hallmarks rubbed and indistinct.
Resizing join/piece seen to shank (appears to not be same ct)
Shank thin.
General scuffs and scratches seen to the metal, commensurate with age and wear.
