A Chinese porcelain lidded temple jar in baluster form, hand painted decoration, with vivid peonies and several birds perched on branches, signed with 3 rows of character marks on rear side of vase, and a further row of character marks to lid, no marks to base, overall height 43cm

General overall condition is good, vibrant colours and markings, there is however damage and repair both to the rim of the vase, a small section approx 6cm x 3cm has previously been broken and subsequently re-glued repair, at this point there is also a hairline crack running down the outer and inner edge of the vase approx 5cm, there is also significant damage and repair to the outer rim of the lid, visible to the eye, a section approx 12cm in length has been broken and re-glued, there is a very small section approx 2.5cm of this repair that is missing
