A LATE VICTORIAN OAK CASED FIVE PIECE SILVER TEA SERVICE BY Z BARRACLOUGH & SONS OF LEEDS, the case with brass shield shaped cartouche to the hinged lid, the interior claret baize lined with maker's /retailer's label, the service of circular form with rose and petal cast rim, leaf capped C scroll handles, the bodies repousse decorated with spiral reeding, vacant cartouches to both sides surrounded by foliate decoration, stepped circular foot, comprising tea pot, hot water jug, milk jug, twin handled sugar bowl and a slop bowl, Sheffield 1894 and slop bowl 1916, gross weight 62.96ozt, 1931.6 (5 + case) (Condition report: the hot water jug handle has extensive wear to the ebonised finish, the milk jug rocks slightly on a level surface, otherwise in good condition overall)
