A George IV mahogany secretaire bookcase, c. 1820, the doors with glazed bars and inlaid in marquetry with a Greek key border, enclosing four adjustable shelves, the projecting base with four drawers, sabre feet, 253.5cm h; 115 x 48.5cm
Worn losses and splits to the veneers and mouldings in places. Bureau and proceeding drawer somewhat stiff on the pull. The base faded.
