A Victorian hallmarked 9ct gold turquoise and pearl sweetheart brooch pin. The antique 9ct yellow gold brooch pin comprised of two safety pins united by chain link with a heart charm. One safety pin having a seed pearl set swallow and the other having a wishbone set with a round turquoise cabochon. Hallmarked for Chester, 1900. In the Victorian era, the swallow and wishbone were popular symbols of everlasting love. Measures 10cm x 2.8cm. Weighs 2.5g. All weights, measurements and sizes are approximate.
