BOUND WITHIN THE FRONT OF THE BOOK IS A RARE AND EARLY PRINTED TRACT "A RAILWAY TRACT" CIRCA 1840 BY W CATTLE, PRINTED BY J PEARSON MARKET RASEN. THIS REFERS TO A FAMOUS RAILWAY CRASH "THE HOWDEN RAILWAY ACCIDENT" OF 7 AUGUST 1840 WHICH KILLED 5 PASSENGERS ON THE HULL & SELBY RAILWAY. IT IS WRITTEN BY A SURVIVOR. THERE IS ANOTHER TRACT ALSO BOUND WITHIN THE BOOK "LATEST NEWS FROM THE WESLEYAN SHIP WHICH SET SAIL FOR NEW JERUSALEM IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD 1739". IT IS IN THE FORM OF A POEM PRINTED BY T SMITH, LOUTH. IN THE BACK OF THE BOOK IS PASTED ANOTHER EARLY TRACT "THE NEVER FALLING BACK" ALSO PRINTED BY T SMITH LOUTH
