A pair of George II silver candlesticks, James Morison, London 1748, each with turned columns and traditional knopped design, with shell cast bases and engraved lion crest, removeable nozzles, 22.5cm high, gross weight 30.4ozt (2) (at fault)

More Information

Candlestick one solder repair between lower knop and adjoining base.
Both nozzles are not hallmarked.
Both candlesticks marks legible.
Both candlesticks have had a green baize lining to the underside of the base rim.
Both with engraved crest.
Both rock slightly when placed on a flat surface, one more than the other.
Both would benefit from a good clean.
Both with surface wear and scratches commensurate with age and use.
