An early 19th century inlaid mahogany chest on chest, probably Channel Islands - the ogee moulded flared cornice with boxwood and rosewood banding, over a frieze with a pair of foliate paterae, flanking a central marquetry oval depicting a sheep in a landscape, above two short and three long graduated drawers, flanked by dot and line inlaid canted corners, the base with three long graduated drawers, all with the original oval brasses and escutcheons, raised on French feet (LWH 111.5 x 57 x 194.5cm), loss to veneer to lower end of the right hand canted corner.
