A Meissen two-handled basket, painted with Deutsche blumen in polychrome enamels, branch handles, the matched cover as a nest of birds, in tones of green, yellow, peach and black, 14cm high, the base with indistinct underglaze blue marks and inscribed M16 in script, 18th century
One handle restored and one chick. Firing crack and some restoration to rim of cover. Some wear. Please see attached images.
