A Chinese 20th century hardwood & black lacquered marriage cupboard. The cabinet having a canted rectangular top with shaped side frieze. The double door front decorated with four corner rectangular wooden plaques with various scenes. Two central lacquered panels decorated with soapstone motifs in the shape of vases, bowls & food. Each side decorated with cherry blossoms and birds. All raised on angled, square supports.
