CATALOGUE AMENDMENT: The stones in this bracelet are white sapphires and not diamonds as originally catalogued. There is a revised estimate of £500 - £700 (27/09/22)
White sapphire, ruby and pearl multi-strand bracelet, of Bahranian origin, circa 1960, centred with a flowerhead and leaves of round cut diamonds and rubies, in chiselled yellow gold mounts, joined by five strands of untested pearls, joined by a further flowerhead bar in diamonds and rubies and with a similar clasp, all in chiselled unmarked yellow gold, the central section approx. 28mm x 26mm, the clasp and bars 19mm, length 19cm, in total 62 diamonds and 19 rubies, total diamond weight estimated as 1.6cts, gross weight approx. 26g
Provenance: By repute gifted by His Highness Shaikh Isa Bin Sulman Al Khalifah K.C.M.G, ruler of Bahrain in 1960 and gifted in 2005 and thence by descent.
