A stunning and very comprehensive collection of approx. 800, postcard size black and white prints collated over several years and housed in a hand made plywood box (with lid). Very minor duplication. The prints are in number order and feature L.M.S. and constituent Railway tank locomotives. Classes covered: MR 1P, MR/LMS 1F 0-6-0T, LTSR 1P 4-4-2T, M & GN 4-4-0, MR 0-4-4T, MR 0-4-0ST, NSR 0-6-4T, LMS 2-6-2T and many others. There is more than 1 photo of each loco. in some instances. The photographs are from several commercial sources including: R.Blencowe, Historical Model Railway Society, Real Photograph collection, R.S.Carpenter, E.Lowden collection, M.S. Stokes, Sharpes as well as photos collected by the vendor. All the prints have comprehensive details on the reverse and are in very good condition. No copyright, sample illustrated.
