An early 19c mahogany writing box, brass rail inlaid with brass edges and cut motif to the cover, green tooled leather writing slope with letter and pen and ink compartments, locking side drawer and flush fitting carrying handles, the locking plate stamped 'E Turner', 45cm w, 25cm h.
In good order. Unfortunately, no keys The tooled leather is a later replacement. the brass inlaid rail is slightly raised in one corner of lid.
