French Louis XIV original verge brass lantern clock, signed Anne Clement á Paris on the left hand side of the bottom movement plate, the 10.25" circular brass dial with Roman cartouche enamel numerals enclosing a foliate repousse centre, surmounted by a pierced foliate fret with portrait sunburst finial before pierced foliate side frets, strapwork bell and finial, 16.5" high (bob pendulum, two weights and later wooden wall bracket, 17.25" high)
