An 18th Century Indian / British Empire Officers short sword / dress dagger. The dagger having a dome shaped pommel with a pierced loop for tassel and a typical Tulwar hilt. The tapering blade double edged to the point inscribed with royal garter 'Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense' between detailed foliage and scrollwork. Measures approx 48cm.
