£260
Chinese kraak blue and white porcelain dish, Transitional, circa 1630-50, the centre decorated with birds with informal panel borders, 31cm diameter
There is rubbing and frits to the rim. Some wear to the centre of the bowl. There is a glazed overfault within the firing which appears as a crack beneath the glaze. This does not reveal itself on the reverse.
There is no sign of restoration.
The bowl also rings true. Lots of spitbeck to the base. The bowl currently has wires for hanging which we have not attempted to remove.
