A fine Imperial German Reservists porcelain beer stein, the polychrome decorated body bearing the name “Reservist Lolekann”, regiment “I. Lothr. Pion. Bat. Nr 16, 3 Komp. Metz 1908-1910”, “Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit”, alphabetical list of members of the Company, scenes of Pioneers building a pontoon bridge and erecting timber buildings, scene of a Zeppelin over Metz, and portrait of Kaiser Wilhelm, the lithophane base having scene of a soldier with his sweetheart, the pewter lid surmounted by the figure of a pioneer, and with embossed panels and oak leaves and eagle thumb piece, height 12½”.
