1892 (19 July) envelope from Salisbury to Uitenhage, Cape Colony, bearing 1892 2d tied by '827' barred numeral in combination with British Bechuanaland 1888 4d tied by 'MACLOUTSIE' c.d.s. and showing, on reverse, Salisbury, Tuli (9.8), Vryburg (15.8) and arrival (17.8) d/stamps; the envelope with a few faults though a very rare example of mail by the South Coast route. Note: This cover is underpaid by 2d with Rhodesian adhesives though untaxed. The balance may well have been paid by the sender.
