A 19th century Louis XV style bronze ‘pendule a l’elephant’,
modelled with a Chinese figure seated above the white enamelled dial, with black Roman and Arabic numerals, raised on a standing elephant, the movement numbered ‘728’ and stamped ‘AD Mougin’
40cm high

More Information

Very faint hairline cracks to the dial.
Remnants of inscription to dial, now faded.
A crack to the glass-backed movement door.
Otherwise sound.
