A Japanese export gilt bronze Sawasa oval tobacco box, 18th century, the flush cover bas-relief decorated with pavilions and birds amid flowering shrubs on a gilt ground, the sides with birds and foliage, the base with a cipher, gilt interior, 9.8cm wide

Some grubbiness to the gilt ground of the cover, some slight indentations to the front edge of the cover, some minute spotting to the black ground on the cover., Otherwise in good condition
