French 1866 Pattern Chassepot Bayonet with fullered single edged blade 575mm in length, maker marked and dated on spine of blade "Tulle October 1873". Cast brass grip with working release catch. Overall length 698mm. Complete with scabbard, repainted.
Blade is in clean condition. Some rust pitting to the crossguard.
