Eileen SOPER, RMS SWLA (1905-1990) Young Hedgehogs Feeding Pencil 9.5cm x 19cm Provenance: From the estate of George and Eileen Soper and illustrated in Eileen Soper's book, Wild Encounters, London Routledge and Paul Ltd, 1957, page 181. Exhibited in the last Soper Show, 10-27 September, 2008. Chris Beetles label to the verso. These appear to have been drawn on two separate leaves that don't quite fit flush with each other, this would explain the gap between the two. The piece with the hedgehog being fed from above clearly shows the adhesive to the top. A couple of incidences of light staining to these (very charming) vg sketches.
