WW1 9th Bn Border Regiment Serbian Silver Medal 1917 Casualty Group of Four Medals.
Awarded to 14094 Private George Gouldburn of New Washington County Durham who is confirmed as being awarded the Serbian Silver Medal (Milosh Obilich) and later died of his wounds. Comprising: 1914/15 Star (REPLACEMENT BLANK EXAMPLE), British War Medal, Victory Medal (14094 PTE G GOULDBURN BORD R), Serbian Silver Medal (Milosh Obilich). Group mounted for display, with a quantity of research. Serbian Silver Medal (Milosh Obilich) London Gazette 15th February 1917. Private George Gouldburn enlisted into the Border Regiment being posted to the 9th Bn. He landed in France on the on the 9th September 1915, earning the 1914/15 Star, he was reported Died of Wounds on the 4th February 1917.
