A Chinese 18th/19th Century Imari jar and cover, rising from a high footring, the body painted in underglazed blue with a series of lotus, blossom and chrysanthemum, heightened in gilt and overglazed iron-red decoration, surmounted by a domed cover, height 25cm, raised on a reticulated carved hardwood stand with upper circular plinth, height of stand height 33cm, inner circular plinth diameter 19cm.

Jar and cover, has small glaze losses to the finial and edges of the rim, wear and rubbing to the gilt throughout.
Small firing crack visible to the interior.
Shallow glaze chip to the underside of the footrim.
Fritting visible throughout.

Stand
Small repairs to the upper gallery on the plinth stand.
Overall knocks and wear throughout indicative of age, with no significant damage.
