Former Bristol Zoo Gardens - an original Bat themed 'face in the hole' sign from Bristol Zoo Gardens, along with its original artwork. The sign featuring 'Bats hang upside down to air their smelly armpits and cos it makes their heads all spinny,' text to top and a double aperture to the front. Foamex board construction. Total size approx: 132cm x 82cm. The artwork being a mixed media painting on paper, which was then reproduced and used on the sign. Unique piece of Bristol Zoo Gardens history.
