1842 (Feb. 3) Registered entire from Mildenhall to Norwich endorsed "Money Letter" and "Registered", the 1/- registration fee paid in cash with red "P1/-", the postage paid with an 1840 2d deep blue, MI plate 2 with large margins cancelled by a black Maltese Cross. Side panels removed and the original address panel cut out, the entire restored with the address replaced, nevertheless a very rare use of an 1840 2d on a registered letter, very few recorded.
