A silver novelty Nutmeg grater, London 1795, silversmith's stamp indistinct, of barrel form with reeded bands and central screw thread, the interior with finely pierced steel grill, the top section with engraved family crest and the initial R, gross weight 27.27 grams 5cm high.
Minor dings and scratches to reeded decoration. One dent to central plain band. The lid with four internal crisp hallmarks. Exterior of base has minor dents. The interior of base stamped with a Lion.
